Liquid food products

Can be poured down the drain as long as they are free of “lumps”, for example fruit soups, gruel, puréed soups, broth, beverages, milk products. Should not be sorted into biowaste because of possible leakage, can be composted in a personal compost. Cooking oil should not be poured down the drain but rather sorted into mixed waste in a tightly packed plastic bottle. See entry for “cooking oil”.
