Stones and soil should be sorted separately from other construction waste, as they have their own, lower waste reception price at the waste centre.

Municipal landfills accept sorted, clean soil, as well as stone products and asphalt on a case-by-case basis. Ask your municipality for further details.

Where can I take it?

Stones and clean excess soil can be taken to the Koukkujärvi and Tarastenjärvi waste centres. Receipt of large quantities of waste must be agreed in advance.

How are stones and soil recycled?

Rocks and soil are used for the structures and landscaping of old landfill sites at the waste centre.
