Waste Bin Emptying

During holiday weeks, waste bin emptying may take place 1–2 days earlier or later than usual. To ensure successful waste collection, it is extremely important to clear snow from the waste truck’s route and the waste collection point, and to sand the yard.

Flatten boxes and compress waste – this way, the waste bin can hold more! Waste that doesn’t need to be recycled immediately can wait at home until normal routines resume.

Opening Hours of Waste Stations and Centers

• 23rd December: Open as per regular hours
• 24th–26th December: Closed
• 31st December: Waste centers close at 6 PM, waste stations open as per regular hours
• 1st January: Closed
• 6th January: Closed
