Asbestos

Asbestos is a fibrous mineral that was formerly used in construction, such as pipe and other insulants, screed, plaster, paints, glues, building boards like minerit boards, plates and tiles, air conditioning channels, plastic mats, fire doors and facade materials. Asbestos is very hazardous to your health. Small batches (less than 50 l) can be delivered to a waste station, while large batches (more than 50 l) should be delivered to the Tarastenjärvi Waste Centre as waste that requires special handling.
