Reusable sports equipment should be primarily donated or sold to recycling centres, charity flea markets or second hand shops. Broken equipment, such as skates, balls, bats, rackets and fibreglass skis are primarily mixed waste. Metal objects, such as exercise bikes, dumbbells etc. are scrap metal.
